Melos is a social music guessing game that builds temporary rounds from music the players connect through YouTube.

Agreement

By using Melos or connecting a YouTube account, you agree to these terms, the Melos Privacy Policy, and the YouTube Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not connect your account or use the service.

Using Melos

You may use Melos for personal, non-commercial play. You are responsible for the account you connect, the display name you enter, and activity from your device. Do not use Melos to break the law, interfere with the service, probe other rooms, harass other players, or attempt to access data that is not yours.

YouTube

Melos uses YouTube API Services and the YouTube embedded player. YouTube controls its videos, advertisements, account permissions, playback rules, and availability. A video may be unavailable, restricted, or interrupted by advertising, and Melos cannot guarantee otherwise. Melos does not provide video downloads or separate audio files.

Rooms and game results

Rooms are temporary and are designed for people playing together. Scores, rounds, playback, and availability can be affected by browsers, networks, YouTube, and players leaving. Melos may end a room, remove expired room data, or limit abusive traffic to keep the service working.

Availability

Melos is provided as available and may change, pause, or stop without notice. During testing, bugs and interrupted games are possible. No particular video, library size, game duration, or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.

Privacy and account control

The Privacy Policy explains what Melos reads and how temporary data is handled. You can revoke Melos's Google access from your Google security settings.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the service or its legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use Melos after an update means accepting the revised terms.
